Submission Guidelines
Send us your articles, letters, poems, suggestions, etc. on any subject which you believe to be of interest and concern to Buddhists and/or to prisoners who are interested in Buddhism. While we do not publish all material we receive, we do carefully review all contributions and appreciate your support. Material may be mailed to:

Identify Your Material:
Include your legal name on all submitted material. Clearly indicate if you wish the material published under a different name, initials only, or anonymously.
Deadlines:
Publishing is at quarterly intervals. We need to receive material no later than the 15 th of March, June, September, December for consideration of publishing in the following issue. Material may be placed in subsequent, later issues dependant upon space availability.
Editing:
We reserve the right to edit all material submitted to us. Usually we edit for length, clarity, and errors in spelling or grammar. We will never knowingly change your meaning.
Publication Rights:
Rights to all material submitted to us return to the creator automatically after publication in Dai-KaiJo. If material you are submitting to us has been published before, you MUST indicate where, when, and the status of publication rights. References: If you have based any of your writing upon the work of someone else, this must be acknowledged. Please include all relevant reference information with your article. Artwork: Send black and white illustrations no larger than 8 ½” x 11” you have created that pertains to the focus of Dai-KaiJo. It must have good contrast and be of good quality in general for scanning purposes.
Return of Material:
We will return material only if you specifically request this AND include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient return postage.
